Post: Teaching Assistant EYFS and/or whole school

Hours: 32.5 hours per week   Term Time only (39 weeks)

Salary: Grade 3 (FTE £19,819- £25,463). Actual salary is £15,429 – £19,823.

The point of the scale will be assessed dependent on experience and qualifications.

Status: Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant who will contribute to the further development of our pupils. You will be part of a supportive team whose successful aim is to help children reach their full potential.

To be considered for the post, you must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and must have experience in working with children in an Early Years setting/primary school

You must be an individual who has the skills to display a true passion for school life and passion to positively impact the children. You must also possess the enthusiasm and energy to inspire the children every day. You must show the ability to interact well with children and teachers alike and build trust quickly. You will be expected to help prepare the learning environments daily and ensure the appropriate learning resources are available for use by the children. You will play a key part in the assessment of child progress and contribute to planning teaching and learning opportunities.
