Cockshut Hill – School Nurse Ambassador Programme

Our School Nurse Ambassador day at the Saffron Centre on the 7th November.Well done to ambassadors; Sarah, Malaika and Ameen all year 9 students. The purpose of the event was to give the Ambassadors some ideas of ways to promote the School Nurse Partnership Programme and also support the project with ideas and feedback on proposed publicity materials. At the event were some high profile figures including Geraldine Goodhall the Operations Manager for the School Health Advisory Service.

There were a number of school from across the city at the event and our students have been identified as possible candidates for the Nurses Interview Panel which would be a great opportunity and great for their CV’s!

These students will be working directly with our allocated School Nurse, Kulwinder Kaur in the aim of raising the profile of the School Nurse “drop in” service as well as raising awareness of other health related services that are available to our students.

The ambassadors will also be working with the Unicef leaders (Article 24) with the aim of promoting services through the student bulletin, posters etc..
