Year 11 students from Lyndon School recently attended a presentation evening at The Sixth Form College, Solihull to receive their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
The evening saw celebrations of the hard work and achievement that the students displayed whilst taking part in the 2016-2017 Lyndon School Duke of Edinburgh course. This included videos created by the students showing what they achieved during the final expedition in Shropshire.
To achieve this award students had to obtain evidence of volunteering, learn a new skill and participate in a physical section.
Parents and Carers were very proud to see the students learning key life skills that will support them into their future on whatever pathway they take. Well done to all involved and thank you to the Lyndon staff that led on this project!
