Summit Academies support World Mental Health Day – Thursday 10th October
On Thursday 10th October, Summit academies supported World Mental Health Day with variety of activities. Pupils and staff at Yarnfield Primary School had a #HelloYellow day to promote mental health awareness across the school community and held competitions to see who was wearing the most yellow. Lyndon School held a bake sale for students during their break time in order to raise money for World Mental Health Day and Solihull Sixth Form College promoted their in-house counsellors who are available to college students should they need support. All the activities organised across the Trust did a fantastic job at raising awareness of this important cause and demonstrated that mental health awareness is high on the agenda at Summit Learning Trust.
